We are excited to announce the launch of a new project (Strengthening Health, and Economic Resilience of Families (Takhar and Badakhshan) Project aimed at improving the resiliency of families/women by delivering MHPSS, provision of mass human/women rights awareness, and increasing access of families/women to income generating activities in Takhar and Badakhshan provinces. This initiative, funded by UN-Women, is designed to make a positive and lasting impact on the lives of 10,904 individuals across these two provinces.
The immediate outcomes of the interventions are providing Health/MHPSS services to 4884 women, income generating activities to 260 women, establishing 60 women SMEs, and social services to around 5700 women, men, girls and boys. The mid-term results will contribute to Ending Violence Against Women and Girls (EVAWG). The ultimate impacts will be contributing to Gender Equality and Women Empowerment (GEWE).
