Helping Hands for Women Organization (HHWO), under the Women’s Access, Dignity, and Advancement (WADA) Project supported by UN Women, proudly announces the successful establishment and operationalization of the Badakhshan Honey Processing Center in Faizabad, Badakhshan.

The center was established to strengthen women-led businesses in beekeeping, honey processing, packagin  , and marketing through collective business development and technical support.

Currently, around 25–35 women and girls are actively engaged in honey processing, packaging, and collective business activities under the WADA governance structure. The center now serves as a practical hub for women entrepreneurs and beekeepers in Badakhshan Province.

This initiative marks an important step toward strengthening women’s economic participation, sustainable livelihoods, and local women-led enterprises in Badakhshan.
