
Following the successful selection of 40 women-led businesses for the project “𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗸𝗵𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲”, the next phase of the initiative; Business Development and Technical Trainings, has officially begun on February 1st, 2025 and will continue to February 28th in Faizabad city, Badakhshan province. A total of 285 women and girls participate in the training sessions.
The training aims to provide selected women entrepreneurs with essential skills in both business development and technical areas. The business development covers key topics such as Business Management, Financial Management, Access to Finance, Product Standardization, and Marketing Management to ensure the sustainability and growth of their businesses. In addition, participants also receive specialized technical training in areas like Handicrafts (Gand Tailoring, Raghza Weaving, Jewelry and Precious Stones Processing), Livestock (Cattle Management, Dairy Product, Beekeeping/Honey), Dried Fruit Processing, Agribusinesses (Medical Plants, and Mushrooms Cultivation). These technical skills are tailored to the specific needs of the selected businesses, helping participants improve their expertise and productivity in their respective sectors.
This initiative marks an important milestone in empowering women entrepreneurs in Badakhshan, enabling them to build resilient, and thriving businesses. The HHWO team remains committed to supporting these women as they continue their journey toward greater business success.
