HHWO is a Women and Youth focused organization. Protection of vulnerable groups (women, religious and ethnic minorities, marginalized people…) is HHWO’s first sector of operation. In its 10 years of operations in Afghanistan, particularly in the last 3 years, HHWO has implemented numerous projects, from which 12 projects had been Women/Youth Protection; GBV services, Legal Aid, Mental Health PSS, Access to income generating opportunities, small businesses …. The projects’ funders had been UN-Women, USAID, UNDP, TDH and so on. The projects had been implemented in Kabul, Badakhshan, Panjshir, Takhar and Herat Provinces.
