At HHWO, we believe that one (male or female) or a family should reach self-independence. S/he should be able to have access to self-development opportunities, acquire his/her potential skills, utilize his/her skills to be financially independent, make their own decisions, live happily and dignifiedly. In the last 3 years, HHWO has implemented and is implementing 4 Economic and Livelihoods projects funded by UNDP, WFP, USAID, and UN-Women in Badakhshan, Takhar and Panjshir provinces. In 2024-2025, HHWO is targeting to support 140 women-led businesses directly (500 women entrepreneurs) in Badakhshan, 60 women small businesses in Takhar (180 women entrepreneurs) and 40 women businesses in Panjshir (100 women entrepreneurs).
