Project implementation is progressing in Paryan and Khenj (Hesa Awal) districts of Panjshir Province, delivering integrated support to women and girls through mental health and psychosocial services, community engagement, and livelihoods interventions.
To date, 285 women have participated in group counseling and 850 have received individual psychosocial support. Additionally, 120 dignity kits have been distributed, 1,550 women have attended health awareness sessions, and 40 needy women have received medical assistance (Cash to attend private health services). Through social behavior change activities, 220 participants were reached with messages promoting positive community engagement and awareness to support women.
Furthermore, 150 beneficiaries have been assessed for livelihoods support to strengthen economic resilience and self-reliance. These interventions continue to improve access to essential services and contribute to the well-being, empowerment, and resilience of women and their communities.
