Literacy is a fundamental right and a foundation for learning, empowerment, and meaningful participation in society. Access to education and literacy creates opportunities for knowledge, well-being, and a better future.
Since 2014, Helping Hands for Women Organization (HHWO) has supported literacy and learning opportunities for women, men, children, and other underserved groups in Badakhshan, Takhar, and Panjshir provinces.
Over the years, thousands of women, men, children, and underserved individuals have benefited from HHWO’s literacy initiatives through group and individual learning, workshops, seminars, and awareness-raising activities.
HHWO believes that literacy and education play an important role in empowering individuals and building inclusive and resilient communities. The journey continues, and HHWO remains committed to expanding literacy and learning opportunities across Afghanistan and reaching more underserved communities.
“Literacy empowers. Education builds the future.”
